I like my coffee. OK so coffee aficionados out there will dispute that what I drink is not classified as 'real' coffee as I take mine decaffeinated. However, one thing I insist on is that it is hot. Now heading up in to the hills, quite often as I do having a really good flask is a must...
So let me introduce you to the Stanley Travel Mug. Now this beast is from the superb Stanley family and is part of their classic range. This means is has a fantastic heritage styling that is all the rage at the moment - rightly so, makes me feel comfortable. The travel mug can be operated with one hand and this one has the same capacity (473ml) as my Stanley flask which means it has the perfect amount for a day in the hills. The jargon that comes with it will tell you that it is made of 18/8 steel which quite frankly meant diddly squat to me, however my Grandfather as a Sheffield Steel worker would no doubt be impressed.
The great thing about this travel mug for me though is that my New Years Resolution is to use less single use plastic and non recyclables, which includes take away coffee. So, this beauty can happily come with me and is on hand for those very moments when I am travelling back from the Lake District and treat myself to a rare caffeinated cappuccino to give me the necessary va va voom to get me home down the M6.
It is also there for me to make my own coffee or tea whether I am off out in the hills, paddling, climbing or for a bimble round town. It looks great with its classic styling, comes in navy or green (I have navy, my husband has green) and enables me to check up on my social media and drink my cracking cuppa at the same time. Win. Win.
