Walk Grading Guide
1* - We aim to keep these walks on recognised footpaths and to have no major climbs or descents. So anyone should be able to particiapte 2* - Most reasonably fit people will be able to cope with this level of walk. Do expect to go up and down and to have to walk over rough, maybe boggy or muddy ground. 3* - These walks generally involve two or more steep climbs on open hills and will cover a moderate distance at a steady pace. These walks will take up to a day. 4* These walks require fitness and stamina to cope with several steep climbs on the open hills and will cover a longer distance at a steady pace and last all day.
Further information about our walks...
When you book with us we will send you some more details regarding what to bring with you and a suggested kit list. We have kit that you are more than welcome to borrow so do ask, we would rather get you out on the hills having a wonderful time than you be stopped by not having a rucksack!
The walks are led by myself and Tony Greenacre. We are both Mountain Leader Trained and Tony is a Hill & Moorland Leader, DofE Bronze, Silver & Gold Leader and Assessor with many years of experience leading walks in the Brecon Beacons. We both hold an up to date 16 Hour First Aid Qualification and have current DBS certificates.
