Yesterday was a good day despite being in a real low at the moment. I had a meeting in the morning and I so, so very nearly didn't go but boy I am SO glad I did. Having anxiety is SHIT, mental health issues are just bollocks as there is no rhyme or reason behind a relapse you just wake up one morning (well IF you have slept that is) and wham; you feel like a blob of weird jelly on the verge of tears and really snappy and oh so very sensitive.
More exams? More tests? Really? As an ex-teacher I am deeply saddened by this news and it would appear that its not just me. Ben Fogle has just written a superb article for The Guardian about there being more wilderness in education and I have to agree. So what would give them these skills? Well the Outdoors of course!

I just wanted to cry, so I did once I had humiliated myself completely and run away of course. So, why have I started again? Well, I am all for the challenge!

Because, if it doesn't challenge you, it won't change you. Read on to find out some of mine for 2016....
There are many health benefits of Yoga but did you know that it can also help your mental well-being? Increased body awareness, relief of chronic stress and relaxation are just a few of the benefits you’ll experience when you begin the practice of Yoga. And don't think that if you practice yoga that you have to be into all that hippy stuff, you take from it what you want. But for me it brings me peace of mind, focus and calmness. Oh and I am starting to develop some pretty lean muscles! Read on....
